Krafton’s latest product, PUBG New State, promises dynamic gameplay and top-tier graphics. However, the game did not get off to the great start that the developers had planned for. Due to server difficulties, the global launch was delayed by a few hours.
While the developers were quick to repair faults and release patch updates, the player base continued to have issues as a result of bugs.
The following are some of the reasons for PUBG New State’s low ratings:
Both the Play Store and the App Store have given PUBG New State low ratings. While players are complaining about a variety of bugs and glitches, there are a few issues that appear in the bulk of the negative reviews.
Poor vision is one of the most common issues that players complain about. Even when enemies are close, the game’s design and colors make it difficult to detect them. To find the enemy’s position, players must rely on acoustic cues and the indication on the mini-map.
Another set of complaints concerns game optimization. Many of the players have smartphones with 8GB of RAM, which is ideal for a game like PUBG New State. Unfortunately, the frame rate does not exceed 60 frames per second, which can be choppy for individuals who are used to gaming at 120 frames per second. Despite server maintenance and patch upgrades, the same group of players experienced regular slowness.
Many players choose to play using a gyroscope as well. However, in PUBG New State, the gyroscope sensitivity is not as granular or exact as players would like. Furthermore, the game’s soundtrack has been a source of contention within the community. When connecting their wired headphones to their mobile phone, some players are unable to hear anything. When a microphone is turned on, there is also a glitch that fully silences the audio.
PUBG New State clearly has a slew of issues that need to be addressed, which explains the negative feedback. However, the developers have done an excellent job of constantly engaging with the community and embracing comments. It has a dedicated crew that is working hard to resolve bugs and glitches so that its player base can have a better gaming experience.
