Gran Turismo 7 was rumored to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive that will be released before the end of the year. However, due to delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Sony announced in June that the game will not be released until 2022. Gran Turismo 7 will, thankfully, also be available on PS4 and PS4 Pro.

This may be a significant deal because it’s been over eight years since the last numbered Gran Turismo was released. It’s natural that GT 6 appears near the end of the PS3’s arc, according to the evaluation. The franchise’s 15th anniversary is an unironic celebration of its legacy’s yoke, but it doesn’t have to mean the end of the series. Thankfully, there are still glimmers of Gran Turismo’s racing spirit to be found. So let’s hope GT 7 has a little more to offer.
