Since the year 2019, Karun Chandhok has led Wallace Esports, India’s sole sim-racing squad, in competing and promoting sim-racing sports in India. Playtonia esports, one of India’s premier esports organizations, hosted a display battle between two real-time racers during the opening ceremony. The Playtonia-powered Virtual Racing Campaign was unveiled at the time.

The major goal was to emphasize the following context: why limit racing to the tracks when you may race virtually without causing any damage?
Pushkar Patil and Haritha Naida, racers, discuss among themselves, their passion for racing, personal experiences, and more in this series. Take a look at the racers in action as they compete in the first two rounds.
In one of the episodes, Vicky Chandhok, one of India’s best racing drivers and a motorsport administrator, had a chat with the incredible racers.

Even though Esports content in India is still in its infancy, the organizations devised brilliant plots to engage the esports community and to introduce them to sim-racing, where more content can be generated, as well as to prepare the community for upcoming tournaments where India can represent the country on a global stage.
The companies have been detailing e-racing championship series since then, making this initiative a fully specialized virtual racing series, while on-track motorsport is still on hold in India and sim racing began to acquire prominence just during the lockdown. This game not only bridges the gap between gaming and track racing but also recreates the thrill of a real-life track racing experience.
