DominiGames has created a fantastic new HOPA series called ‘Secret City’, released on 18th April 2020.

Welcome to London… but this isn’t the London you’re used to.
An ancient metropolis of wizards, giants, and dwarves lurks just beneath the surface.
You’ve been summoned to look into a spate of unusual murders that threatens the centuries-old harmony between the races.
In this gripping game full of puzzles and brain teasers, explore these diverse and hazardous realms as you track down the killer.

The gameplay is identical to that of other Domini games and therefore necessitates interactive assistance.
Some characters will provide you with helpful information about your task and adventure.
Look for crystals in each scene; the indicator lights when one is present.
There are shop buttons for buying coins and crystals in the shop. You can also view how many coins and crystals are available.
Teleport between locations and review your chores using your map. There is a task journal where you can keep track of your current objectives.
If you get stuck in the game, use the hint button to get help; each hint costs one coin. Look for items with similar silhouettes.
Hidden-Objects Puzzles are indicated by sparkles. You can play Match-3 instead of looking for objects if you don’t want to look for them.

We enjoyed the game, however, this is the first time it appears to have a bug. One of the first puzzles prevents us from accessing our inventory to use the magical amulet.
We can’t even play a mini-game since we can’t get the object to fit in the slot because of the controls. What enraged us the most was that we had previously attempted to use an object and failed until we spent some hints.
Developers should hopefully address these concerns in future versions.
