If you are a solitaire fan, then The Revills Games probably sounds familiar to you. This beloved studio is responsible for hits such as Home Run Solitaire, Chef Solitaire, and of course, the fan-favorite Legends of Solitaire series. Over six years after the latest installment, the series is back with its third game – Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic.

On the surface, Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic might seem like just another run-off-the-mill solitaire puzzle game. However, it does not take long into the game for it to show its great potential. Although the main game mechanics are straightforward, this game is highly customizable. Not only does the game allow you to customize card graphics, font, and cursor like other solitaire games, this game also lets you select from three solitaire modes (Higher/Lower, Match 2, and Sum of 14) and three difficulty options.
Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic comes with 20 solitaire realms with 10 levels each. The game is incredibly addicting and never gets boring due to variations in themes and obstacles. Every once in a while, there are also mini-games to complete. These mini-games are simple and sweet, they range from Match 3 levels to hidden object scenes to memory games. If you would rather not enjoy these non-solitaire mini-games, you can also disable them in the game settings.

One feature that is unique to Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic is the battle mode. At the end of each realm, you will unlock the battle mode, in which you take your turn to play against an opponent. This is extremely entertaining and well-crafted, you can even enable or disable card battle mode or simple battle mode to adjust the game to your liking.
To top it all off, Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic looks and sounds quite wonderful. The artwork is vividly drawn, the music is pleasant, and the sound effects are simple yet fitting. As added bonuses, there are also achievements along with three extra mini-games; freeplay mode, Tri-Peaks mode, Five-Peaks mode.

Legends of Solitaire: Diamond Relic is rich with features and creativity. Given how customizable the game is, it is worth playing no matter your solitaire preferences.

Really enjoy your reviews and various blogs. They are extremely informative and detailed. It’s always nice to see a ‘heads up’ notice of games that will shortly be released. Not all casual games are released only on Big Fish, so, I would like to see a wider variety.
The only fault I’ve found is no information on the Operating System required. I play on an iMac. I read the information on Legends of Solitaire and immediately click the Free Trial only to find out it isn’t coded for an iMac. Perhaps you can put that information in the review or at the end.
Thank you for your kind words. We have no control in regulating and validating the operating systems requirements information as this information is based on what Big Fish provided. This might be something the Big Fish support team can help you with 🙂
