Children’s dreams are taken over by nightmares and it is up to you to travel to the magical realms and save the children! Dreams Keeper Solitaire is a new fantasy-themed solitaire game from DigiMight and it is certainly a card game worthy of your attention.
I must admit that Dreams Keeper Solitaire is my first exposure to DigiMight. However, I have heard great things about their previous offerings such as Snow White Solitaire: Charmed Kingdom and Solitaire Call of Honor. While on the surface, this game might seem like just another higher-level solitaire game, it actually packs much creativity inside.
Like other casual solitaire games, Dreams Keeper Solitaire’s main objective for each level is for you to clear the board by matching cards with consecutive numbers. But most levels in Dreams Keeper Solitaire also require you to complete other objectives, from collecting inventory items to making specific combos. Achieving three stars on every level is definitely not easy, but it is also not impossible to do either – anything is possible with the right strategy and careful moves.
A feature that helps you maximize your level score is the wardrobe. This unique and innovative feature lets you spend the money you earn from completing levels on wearable items for our hero. The catch is that each wearable item has special powers that vary with each of the game’s worlds. An item usually has certain buffs and debuffs, buffs are helpful power-ups that can be used during a level, whereas debuffs add complications to make the level harder for you. With the game’s five different worlds, you have to be attentive to the items your character wears before each level and make sure that they all work to your advantage.
As a fantasy-themed game, Dreams Keeper Solitaire is unexpectedly light on special effects. Still, the game’s sharp visuals and pleasant colors are quite relaxing and make long play sessions easy on the eyes. Dreams Keeper Solitaire has only one mode, but includes 200 levels so there is plenty to enjoy.
