Almost 7 years after the first Kingdom Chronicles captured the hearts of gamers of all ages, the series is back for a brand-new sequel on PC! with Kingdom Chronicles 2! Go on an epic journey with the homegrown hero to save the princess from the villains and protect the beloved kingdom!
Initially, the premise of Kingdom Chronicles 2 might seem quite shallow and not so different from the gazillion other “save the kingdom” Time Management games out there. However, this is the type of game you need to try yourself to really know what it is like. While the storyline is almost nonexistent, all the other aspects of the game are downright perfect.
I knew Kingdom Chronicles 2 is going to be one of my favorite Time Management games right from the first level. The game dazzles with lively and colorful graphics, which complements the intricate artwork extremely well. The 3D character animations are also brilliant and lifelike. Moreover, the upbeat background music is catchy and memorable without being distracting. The level of production value in this game is simply unmatched by most Time Management releases.
Kingdom Chronicles 2 brings back the smartly layered gameplay that I personally loved in the original. This game is built for hardcore fans of the genre because the complexity and the challenge level are unbelievably satisfying. Although the core gameplay is that of a typical resource-management game, the developer makes enough effort to distinguish Kingdom Chronicles 2 by adding a variety of interesting tasks, cool ideas, and even interactive battle elements.
Throughout Kingdom Chronicles 2’s 40 main levels, there was never a moment of boredom for me – every single level was a blast that stimulated both my mind and my adrenaline. Despite having no relaxed mode for amateur players, the game allows you to proceed with less than three stars on a level. The Collector’s Edition adds another 8 levels, along with a helpful strategy guide, achievements, and concept art.
