4 Friends Games is back with yet another gothic fantasy adventure. Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night definitely features some interesting story elements, especially the premise of hunters versus vampires. However, probably due to the relatively slow pace of the storytelling, the sense of urgency is lacking in this game. On another note, the protagonist is also somewhat one-dimensional, which makes it difficult for the player to get emotionally invested in the storyline.
Advanced HOPA players will have no trouble progressing through Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night. The core of the game remains quite standard, tasks that need to completed are straightforward, and of course there is a magical Dragon Bracelet that equips you with certain powers. The hidden object scenes and the puzzles are considerably creative and tie in well with the vampire theme of the game, although they are not something to write home about.
An aspect of Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night that stands out above the rest would be the production. The delicate artwork and the creative scene designs make for a stimulating visual experience, combine that with the atmospheric background music – Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night is one immersive adventure.
All in all, Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night is incredibly well-made and very enjoyable. We finished the main game in a little under four hours, and the bonus chapter in 50 minutes. The Collector’s Edition also includes all the expected features; a strategy guide, wallpapers, screensavers, concept art, soundtracks, videos, repayable hidden object scenes, replayable puzzles, achievements, collectibles, and morphing objects.
