The cast and crew of the hit reality television show Outlive have been experiencing supernatural events ever since they came from filming the show on an exotic island. The situation worsens when the evil entity reaches out to suck the life forces out of the viewers of the show. Can you, a capable detective, stop this madness before it is too late?
Outlive is the awaited sequel to last year’s brilliant The Unseen Fears: Body Thief and we are happy to say that this sequel does not disappoint! While the storyline is not anything groundbreaking, the reality show setting helps make the game more fresh and exciting. We also appreciate how the game does not solely centers around the evil force, but explores the dynamics between the characters as well.
For advanced HOPA players, The Unseen Fears: Outlive might feel slightly too easy. The adventure part of the game is not anything out of the ordinary, although it is certainly extremely well-executed. As a paranormal detective, you are also equipped with a special ability to see what is hidden by dark magic. This is a nice little touch to the game, but again, not something we have not seen before. When it comes to other aspects like the hidden object scenes and the puzzles, they are well-integrated into the storyline, but can be predictable and lacking in challenge.
The real heroes of The Unseen Fears: Outlive are the sights and sounds. GrandMA Studios continues to deliver stellar visuals with this latest game – crisp graphics, bold colors, intricate artwork, high-budget videos – everything in this game looks amazing. Every single scene in this game would look stunning as computer’s wallpaper. The epic soundtracks and the professional voice-overs are also vital to the game, as they help bring the game to life.
There is no reason not to go for the Collector’s Edition, especially if it is on sale. The extras section includes a bonus prequel chapter, a hidden chapter, a strategy guide, wallpapers, movies, soundtracks, concept art, replayable hidden objects, replayable puzzles, achievements, and collectibles.
