Super Mario Bros

For most of us, the release of the first Mario Bros in 1985 transformed our childhood gaming experience. Soon Mario became a household, and even now its franchise is still very popular. If you’ve never played this one before, then you’re yet to experience the best of gaming fun. Just get ready to swerve through the Mushroom Kingdom.
Tetris
Tetris is undeniably a favourite for most gamers, especially when it was first released in 1984. A lot of improvements have been made to the puzzle classic to make it more attractive and interesting, though the original idea of stacking blocks together is still conserved. Although, first available on Gameboy and NES, Tetris can now be played on almost every platform.
Nintendo Switch; Nintendo
Arms is unarguably the newest title on the list. So, why mention it now as a classic? Well, it’s obvious.
You don’t need a developer to identify a good game when you see one. For what it’s worth, it wouldn’t be out of place to say that Arms is definitely going to be dominating it’s genre for a long time. It’s barely up to a year since its release and it has already become a global phenomenon. Arms is just another incredible testament that NES is on top.
Legend of Zelda
Now available on NES, Switch and Wii U, the Legend of Zelda is part of an ongoing franchise that is still a great delight to many. There has never been a release in the adventure series that was overshadowed by its predecessor. It is simply a gem to the gaming world.
Contra
Contra is undeniably iconic in the gaming world. Released in 1987, the original 8-bit classic attracted millions of gamers from across the globe, gunning to bring down Red Falcon. The weaponry is just incredible while the sound couldn’t have been better. If there was any game that promoted the Konami code so much, it is Contra.
Resident Evil
Resident Evil is one franchise that has continued to shake the gaming world. In spite of its mysterious storyline, the classic has continued to draw millions of gamers from almost every part of the planet. Right from the time of its first release, Resident Evil has been nothing less than a spectacular horror series.
