After delivering two stellar episodes, Mad Head Games is back withย Lady and the Painter, the third episode in the Adam Wolfe series! The game picks upย right whereย The Devil You Knowย ended, Wolfe questioning Dez about the cult Timeless.ย This then leads Wolfe to a painterโs home, which appears to be haunted by his dead wifeโs spirits. Can Wolfe find out more about Timeless and help the depressed painter find his peace? Andย will he finally learn the secrets behind his sisterโs mysterious disappearance?
Mad Head Games really amped up the suspense and the tension in this third episode. You will be thrilled all the way through the game as you progress through the captivating storyline and unravel not-so-pretty truths about your sister. Lady and the Painter also brings back the interactive action sequences in the style that we loved from the previous two episodes.
Like its predecessors, Lady and the Painter is a casual adventure game with lots of mini-games and few hidden object scenes. The adventure section of the game can be fairly complex, since not all the tasks are conventional. This challenge balances out the puzzles, in which we felt were a tad too easy this time around. This third episode of Adam Wolfe stillย manages to find great and logical uses for the Intense Focus ability and the pocket gun โ little things like these are what distinguished Adam Wolfe from the rest of the casual games crowd. In addition,ย Adam Wolfe: Episode 3 โ Lady and the Painter continues to feature mind-blowing visuals and impressive audio.
Lady and the Painter took us about an hour to complete, and what a breathtaking hour that was. By the end of the chapter, we are even more hyped for the fourth and final episode.
