Swampy and his friends, Allie and Cranky invited you back to their sewer in this supposedly new adventure. Fans should not expect big changes in this sequel, how much more innovative this franchise could go? The basic concept of gameplay is still remained the same, those who have played first one through and through will learn their ways fast while it is also not difficult for beginners.
Despite that, there are some cool changes in Where’s My Water? 2. The developer has added Challenges which is quite an interesting mode. It basically based on the same level with the same interface, obstacles and stuff but it adapts with a new gameplay mode such as Upside Down, Melody, Avoid It, Duck Rush and Driller for instance. Sometimes there are two to three, or even four challenges per level – great way to earn more ducks! Apart from the good old Collectibles, there are a few bonuses included in this sequel like costumes for your ducks and finding the mysterious ducks to unlock a brand new, exclusive costume.

However, we would say that Where’s My Water? 2 is a big, big letdown from the first game. The reason many freemium games are so successful is because the developers know how to implemented In-App Purchases nicely without disrupting the entertainment. This does not seem to be the case in Where’s My Water? 2 as now, every single level you play required Energy. Your energy bar can fill up to 9 energies, each time you play a level you use one, and even retry the same level will also cost you one. What more annoying is that each energy takes up to 10 minutes to recharge so you can either wait an hour and a half to play (or replay) nine more level or else you would have to purchase the unreasonably expensive IAP or spam your Facebook friends with useless posts.
